Election day is tomorrow November 3rd.  If this is your first visit, welcome.

If you like what you see here, look for my name in the Penfield Supervisor column, bottom row in the voting booth.  Pull the lever for a better Penfield.  Pull the lever for Steve Nazarian.

After you've voted, come down to the Four Corners Headquarters for an election night event.  From 7:30 on, we'll be enjoying good friends, food and waiting for the results (expected between 9:30 and 10:00pm)

Thank you to all who have helped make this campaign a huge success.

We Must Do Better

I am pleased to report that the Nazarian For Penfield Campaign has successfully submitted our Nominating Petition. This means that we are now on the ballot for the election on November 3rd. The process of collecting the signatures involved more than a thousand conversations with the registered voters of Penfield and the result was nearly universal…the people of Penfield are tired of how things are with town government and they want something better.

This week the campaign begins obtaining hundreds of signatures for our “nominating petition.” We can use your help if you’re willing. CLICK HERE to go to the Contact Us page, give us your name and check the “Petition Helper” box.

I bet you didn’t know this… even though I am running as an independent, I am required to pick a party name for the ballot. There are more than 250,000 words in the English language. The one I have settled on is…

Happy Birthday America!

This coming Saturday, Penfield will celebrate Independence Day, AKA The 4th of July.  Growing up in Penfield, the 4th of July was, without exception, the greatest day of the year.  Now, Christmas, my birthday, family vacations and the last day of school all had fine moments, but the 4th of July provided a Penfield kid with something uniquely American…Freedom.

I can’t tell you what happened what year, because in my mind it is all a blurred pleasant memory, but the 4th of July used to go something like this…

If you are reading this, you’ve found your way to the website in support of me (Steve Nazarian).  I am running as an independent candidate for Penfield Town Supervisor.  The election is November 3rd, 2009.

Rather than reiterate all the information that the website contains, I thought I would jump right in and make this first blog posting as timely and relevant as I hope they all will be.

On Thursday June 11th, there was an article in the Democrat & Chronicle (Click Here to read it) about how the Penfield Planning Department had been “deluged” with inquiries about the Elderwood facility that is being built at the corner of Route 250 and Penbrooke Drive.
